First Impressions

This is my first year as a Sam Walton Fellow with SIFE. I have been blown away with the entire SIFE organization and with AU's SIFE program specifically. The competitions last year were my first exposure to AU's SIFE, and I was so impressed with the level of professionalism of the students and with the impact that this program makes. SIFE impacts the adults, high school students, children, non-profit organizations, and for-profit businesses in the local community in addition to international organizations. There is a huge amount of work that gets done by lots of people doing their part. AU SIFE makes a significant impact and everyone is having fun and feeling good at the same time. The relationships that come out of this group are life-long and life-changing. That may be the biggest impact of all.

Seeing the achievements of this group makes me proud to be at AU and involved in such a worthwhile organization. I'm really understanding the "Changing Lives" theme from last year. I'm looking forward to a great year this year!
